Follow the phone instructions below, or use your browser’s install option if available.

iPhone / iPad

  1. Open rallypointministry.org/install directly in Safari. For these instructions, use Safari rather than Chrome or a browser opened inside Instagram, Facebook, or Messages. Copy and paste the address into Safari if needed.
  2. Tap Safari’s Share button (a square with an arrow pointing up). If it is hidden, open Safari’s … menu first.
  3. Scroll through the share sheet’s actions and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Keep the name Rally Point. If shown, turn on Open as Web App, then tap Add.

Missing “Add to Home Screen”?

Scroll to the bottom of the share sheet and tap Edit Actions (or Edit / Customize, depending on your version). If Add to Home Screen is listed, add it back and try again. Use Safari’s own Share menu, not a Share button inside another app.

Try a normal Safari tab instead of a Private tab. If you opened Rally Point from an existing home-screen icon, you are already in the web app; reopen this address in Safari. Browser versions and device restrictions can affect which actions appear.

Still seeing the old icon? Existing home-screen icons may not refresh automatically. Add a new shortcut from Safari using this page; once it works, you can remove the old shortcut.

Android / Chrome

  1. Open this page directly in Chrome.
  2. Tap Install Rally Point above when offered. Otherwise open Chrome’s three-dot menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen.
  3. Confirm installation, then open Rally Point from your home screen.

This is a web app installed from the website. Internet access is required for current content, member sign-in, registration, and help requests.
